Hall of Fame 2 (sometimes abbreviated as HoF2 or HoFII) is a digital reverb pedal by TC Electronic. In addition to very classic reverberation sounds such as spring and plate reverb it has quirkier ones: Putting the mode switch to “Shim” creates instant background ambience, “Mod” adds modulation to the wet signal. Pre-delay toggle allows to add a little longer time gap before reverberated sound comes in.
TonePrint function allows to upload sound presets via the included USB data cable using PC/Mac application or from an iPhone/Android app. TC Electronic website has a collection of TonePrints by famous musicians to download (over 200 toneprints are for HoF 2 specifically). Hall of Fame 2 has three slots for user-defined presets.
MASH function allows you to use switch button as sort of an expression pedal. It’s a technology patented by TC Electronic and it uses two magnets inside the button to provide the expression signal.
